For the convenience of our Members, Copart offers a variety of bidding options.
 |
Internet Preliminary Bidding |
 |
Allows Members to place bids prior to the auction from their home or office. The highest preliminary bid at the start of the virtual auction will be represented during the live virtual auction. Members using preliminary bidding have confidence knowing their winning bid is only one increment higher than the second highest bid during the virtual auction, not necessarily their maximum bid.

Kiosk Preliminary Bidding |

Allows Members to place bids prior to the auction at the convenient Bidding Kiosks located in the lobby of each facility. The highest preliminary bid at the start of the virtual auction will be represented during the live virtual auction. Members using preliminary bidding have confidence knowing their winning bid is only one increment higher than the second highest bid during the virtual auction, not necessarily their maximum bid.

Virtual Bidding |

Members can choose to attend our virtual sales and bid live, in real time. For member convenience, all sales begin at 12:00 noon local time of the facility in which the vehicle you are bidding is stored. With Copart's patented VB2 technology, Members experience the excitement of a live sale from the comfort of their home or office.

Where Can I bid? |
|
|
|
Bidding eligibility is determined by state and local regulations in addition to licenses/permits on file for the member. To expand your bidding eligibility applicable licenses should be emailed to member.license@copart.com or faxed to (707)639-5261. Click here to view the Buying Overview Matrix.

Registered Brokers |
|
|
|
If you are unable to bid at a given facility based on your bidding eligibility or licensing restrictions, you may choose to work with a Registered Broker. Registered Brokers are professional buyers who are making their services available to assist in the buying process. Registered Brokers can offer a variety of value added services such as bidding and buying advice, repair services, transportation, export shipping, etc. Registered Broker details can be found under the industry links tab on the top of home page. Click here to view now. Registered Brokers:
- are eligible to bid on vehicles you may not be able to bid on due to licensing restrictions.
- will bid on these vehicles on your behalf - expanding your buying power.
- offer a variety of value added services such as inspection and transportation services.
