We’ve been looking through the thousands of flood cars recovered in Florida after Hurricane Ian swept through. We found a few worth noting among the thousands available in our flood car auctions now being held every weekday. Many of these vehicles have the Flood Reconditioned badge to show they have been through our proprietary process to remove any remaining water and treat them to try to prevent mold, fungus and bad odor.
1954 Jaguar XK
How could we resist those sleek art-deco lines and classic styling from a bygone era? Sadly, this one is a bit sandy and was likely showered with salt water. But it could still be the base for something beautiful.
2014 Bentley Continental GT V8 S
It’s big. It’s black. It’s British. It’s a 2014 Bentley Continental GT V8. It’s also a convertible. This is a car built for class and to impress.
2011 Vespa LX 1510IE
We have a soft spot for Vespas ever since we saw Audrey Hepburn ride one in Roman Holiday. This one may have died to give another one life.
2016 Rolls-Royce Wraith
This beautiful blue bombshell was bashed by the bay, but it’s still lovely to look at. When it comes to a statement of status and class, nothing quite tops a Rolls-Royce, especially one with that big old-school front grill. This model even has suicide doors to make it easier for the valet to open the door for you to make a dramatic entrance that’s also a statement.
2015 Mini Cooper Roadster
Who says a roadster has to be huge to be fun? This Mini Cooper Roadster ragtop is quite cute and ready for some fun around Florida. This particular one has the potential to be rebuilt and retitled. If you are looking for a fun project car with few other vehicles even similar, this might be the ride for you.
1969 Chevrolet El Camino
The El Camino isn’t loved by everyone, but those who love it keep it deep in their hearts. This isn’t the most commonly seen classic car, which is one of the reasons it makes the list.
1965 Shelby Cobra
The term “legend” gets tossed around a lot, but this car truly is one. These cars are so popular you can build your own from a kit based off of this specific car. Blue is one of the most sought-after colors. This one is the real deal, with a plate straight from Shelby Motor Co.
1961 Chevrolet Corvette
Just like “legend,” the word “classic” gets used all too often. But a red Corvette with white walls will always be an eye catcher. The word “iconic” certainly fits for this car that defines an automotive era.
2021 Aston Martin DB11
“The name is Bond. James Bond.” Aston Martin will always be linked to Ian Fleming’s super spy with ice water in his veins. The DB11 has come a long way from Sean Connery’s DB5, but a little bit of that James Bond cool still hovers around it.
2019 Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid
We were shocked to find this vehicle in the flood's wake. It would be revolting not to try to give it new life. This is a rare Porsche hybrid gas electric vehicle providing the best of both worlds with the style only the Porsche can provide.
2017 Ferrari 488 Spider
The word Ferrari summons images of high performance, high luxury, and stunning looks. This deep blue one certainly fits the hype. It's rebuidable and could make someone a stunning and stylish way to get around town.
We have tens of thousands of flood cars available in daily auctions, Monday through Friday, that are perfect for parts, exports, or a platform for your next project car. Take a look, and let us know some of your favorite flood vehicle finds.
