Does Copart offer international shipping?
Copart offers international shipping services to the UAE and other destinations. For additional questions about international shipping, please contact export@copart.com.
What if I’ve forgotten my user ID or password?
No worries if you’ve lost either of these. For your user ID, contact Member Services at (972) 391-5400 or member.services@copart.com. To retrieve your password, enter your user ID or email address here (once you choose Member from the dropdown list), and your password will be emailed to you.
What documents are required when buying internationally?
All international buyers will need the following documents to purchase vehicles:
- Affidavit Form
- Multi-state Tax Form
- Foreign Dealer or Foreign Business License
- Notarized English translation of license, if applicable
Submit your business licenses to our Member Licensing Department via the License Uploader or search our No License Required inventory to find vehicles that do not require state business licenses in order to bid and buy.
When is payment due, and what type of payment is recommended?
Payment in full is due two (2) business days after the sale date. We try to accommodate a wide range of payment types for your convenience. In general, wire transfers work best for our international buyers. To ensure payment is made on time, some of our buyers wire the funds into their account ahead of time.
What shipping options are offered?
Currently, Copart offers shipping by ocean in standard shipping containers.
Is transportation from Copart yard to the port offered?
Yes, transportation from selected Copart locations to the port of loading is included.

What is the transit time to Central America?
It takes about 10 to 14 days from Houston to major ports in Central America depending on weather condition.

What is the amount of duties and taxes charged on International orders?
Normally, the duties and taxes must be paid locally before the goods are released from customs. These regulations are common and may differ slightly from country to country. Please refer to your local customs office for more information.
