What’s the difference between a Basic Membership and a Premier Membership?
A Basic Membership works best for:
-
Members who are purchasing a single vehicle
Basic Members can only bid on one car at a time without a deposit and only five cars at a time with a deposit. With no deposit, Buying Power is limited to $2,000, which means that you can only bid on one vehicle up to $2,000. If you plan to bid higher, you would need to have on file a deposit that is 10% of the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for the vehicle. For example, a $3,500 bid would require a deposit of $350. If you plan to bid during the live online auction, you would need to plan ahead and put down this deposit prior to the start of the auction so you don’t miss out on any critical bids.
A Premier Membership works best for:
- Members who plan to purchase multiple vehicles
- Members who want to bid on more than one vehicle at a time
- Members who want to avoid the time and hassle of adding a deposit each time their bidding limit is reached
With Premier Membership you can bid on items in which your licensing on file allows (up to $100K bid limit per day unless additional approvals are granted by Regional or General Managers).
