CONGRATULATIONS 2022 WINNERS!
FIRST PLACE
Gaston I.
This year’s winning vehicle had a one wheel difference, more or less, from any other entry we’ve ever received. This three wheeled vehicles is a 2021 Vanderhall Camel GT. Gaston L. found it at a yard in Colorado Springs, and drove 2000 miles each way. Along with restoring the vehicle, he added AC, cabin lights, wheel lights and a custom paint job on all aluminum parts. Gaston said this was his fourth rebuild project, and he plans on doing more with vehicles bought from Copart.
SECOND PLACE
Eleuterio M.
Our second-place winner Eleuterio M. is a lover of all things big truck. Inspired by truck rebuilds across the internet, he crafted this big truck to have one of his own to drive. He took a totaled pickup truck and totally rebuilt it.
THIRD PLACE
Elijah G.
If you want to get far away from civilization, you’ll love this highly customized entry by Elijah G. The avid off roader commented that he kept having to part his previous vehicle to get to some remote spaces. So he took the frame, suspension and axils from a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and wrapped it in a 1949 International Harvester KB-2. He dropped in a new engine, transmission, and added a long list of custom modifications. This vehicle wouldn’t be out of place in a Mad Max movie. It’s even street legal.
