General manager Matt Fogleson takes you behind the scenes to Copart Yard 36 in Chicago, Illinois, the largest Copart yard in the Midwest with over 10,000 vehicles on site. Copart Chicago North is one yard that values community partnerships. They often work with local police and fire departments to do training sessions with K9s in the yard.

Matt welcomes members to come into the lobby area with six workstations and an express lane. To ensure a speedy Copart experience, he reminds members to have their members and lot numbers ready before meeting with the friendly customer representatives.

Mondays are Copart Chicago North's busiest days. Matt recommends members to come any other days to avoid the long wait time. Nels, a CSR who has been with Copart for ten years, lets members know that they can check their account beforehand to make sure they have the correct amount due at the time of their vehicle pick-up.

Always make sure to put on a safety vest while visiting a yard. Nick Napier, the yard supervisor of Yard 36, shares some safety tips while visiting yards: no open-toed shoes, no tools, and no children.
