General Manager Chris Pourciau and Assistant General Manager TJ Estevez give an up close and personal tour of Copart Yard 32 in our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. With over 5,200 vehicles in inventory, Copart Washington D.C. holds hundreds of boats, campers, RVs and even motorcycles at their location. They also pick up the majority of the heavy-duty vehicles in the DC, MD and VA area. 

Chris and TJ take a quick tour of the lobby area where you can make Member payments, ask to preview vehicles and utilize the Member kiosks to make preliminary bids. TJ recommends visiting the location prepared with your driver’s license, Member ID number and any other required documents. 

Because auctions are held every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. EST, TJ also recommends Members come in to preview the vehicles Wednesday through Friday. To avoid long wait times, transporters should not come in on Thursdays and Fridays during the week.

Office Supervisor, Holly Ducellier, always advises Members to preview vehicles before placing your bid for quality assurance. Purchasing a Vehicle Condition Report or AutoCheck is also a great alternative if you’re unable to view the vehicles in person. In order to place a bid at Copart Washington D.C., you must be a licensed dealer or bid with the assistance of a Broker. 

Chris stresses the importance of picking up a green vest at the front desk before you preview your vehicles in person for safety. Your designated escort will take you directly to the vehicles you’re interested in viewing.  share some safety tips while visiting the Baltimore location which include wearing close-toed shoes and cautionary safety vests so loaders can see you.
