We’ll Unveil Our First Copart Project Car
For 2024, we’ve partnered with YouTube automotive personality Lucky Lopez to create a custom vehicle for the SEMA Show. Lopez bought a 2022 Tesla Model 3 from Copart with the Buy It Now tool.
He’s turning the sedan into a convertible roadster that we plan to unveil at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 when the doors open. The custom creation will be on display in the Silver Lot in front of the Central Hall. He’s been keeping things quiet about this build that we’re told will combine cutting edge technology with classic style.
What is SEMA?
If you don’t know, SEMA showcases the latest in aftermarket auto accessories, performance enhancing products and the latest custom vehicle trends. Every year thousands of manufacturers, customizers, and other industry insiders gather for this grand spectacle that celebrates vehicles that go beyond stock specs and the people who take them there.
The event is open to industry members only and the general public isn’t admitted. But if you can’t attend, we’ll be bringing you news, photos and videos from the event in our blog and through our social media channels.
