Registration Steps:

1. Sign up for a free Guest membership to start searching vehicles
2. Upgrade your membership and upload a copy of your government-issued ID to start bidding.

   International buyers who wish to bid on vehicles that require a business license must be either registered as a business/ sole proprietorship in their country or contact brokers to get access to business inventory.

   If your business is registered outside of the USA, please upload the following documents to start bidding on Copart as a business:

   • Dealer, Import/Export License or any other business license
   • Taxpayer ID/VAT Certificate obtained from tax authorities (if not eligible for VAT, provide a letter from issuing VAT authority confirming that you do not qualify for VAT at this time)
   • Notarized English translation of the licenses and certificates mentioned above (if not issued in English)
   • Affidavit Form filled out in English. Download PDF instructions >>

   *To register as a business buyer, you may first upload the business owner’s photo ID to activate their account and get access to inventory available to individuals. You then can go back and add the documents mentioned above to begin bidding as a business. Please note that the company name in the registration must match the company name on the licensing documents that you plan to submit.

   Please note that you need to upload to your account ALL the documents mentioned above to get access to the inventory available to businesses.

   All documents will be processed within 1-3 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). You will receive an email confirmation once your documents are processed and your account is activated for bidding.
