With the recently updated registration form, prospective Copart Members can now choose to register either as a business or as an individual buyer. Based on their selection, the registration form automatically adjusts, revealing different sets of questions tailored to their buyer type.
During registration, prospective Members can also indicate their preferred vehicle types in order to receive notifications about vehicles they might be most interested in. In addition, they can select what purpose they buy vehicles for, which allows Copart to create a more unique and customized user experience for them.
Finally, identification and business licenses (if applicable) can be uploaded in step two of registration, saving time and streamlining the process.
Follow these steps to join Copart and start bidding on vehicles:
- Complete the registration form and click “NEXT” to continue to the license upload form.
- Instantly upload a digital copy of your government-issued ID and any business licenses using the license upload form. We will email your Member number and password within 5 to 7 minutes!
- Log in within 7 days using your Member number and password. Logging in activates your membership and prevents you from having to re-register.
