Make Sure You Have a Power of Attorney To Get Titles Sent To You

In order for Copart to mail your titles directly to you, you’ll need to have a valid Limited Power of Attorney on file so we can put vehicles into your name. 

Some states allow you to simply eSign this document with a few clicks or taps on any mobile device. Others require you to have the form notarized. If you don’t have a POA on file, you’ll need to print the document, sign it and have it notarized before re-uploading it to your account. 

Here’s how to check if you have a POA on file. Log in to your dashboard and go to “Account Settings” at the top right of the screen. Select “Shipping & Documents,” the next to the last option on the left of the screen. Next to “Power of Attorney On File,” if you see “Yes” you already have a valid POA with Copart. If you see “No,” click “View Form” to sign and upload the document.
