Basic and Premier Members can both enjoy the advantages of Max Bids.

Max Bids follow the same rules as live bids when it comes to deposits. If you are a Basic Member, you’ll need to deposit 10% of the maximum total dollar amount of bids you plan to place, which we call Buying Power. Be sure to keep this in mind when placing your Max Bids.

If you are a Premier Member, you’re $400 deposit lets you set Max Bids up to a total of $100,000 a day.

No. Max Bids don’t cost you anything extra to use. This is another benefit Copart provides to help you get the most out of your Basic or Premier Membership
No. Max Bids legally work just like live bids. You’ll need to have the proper documentation uploaded and verified with Copart that are required by the laws of the state where the car you want to buy is located. But beyond that, you only need a Copart Basic or Premier Membership to use Pre-Bids to win vehicles.
Yes. Max Bids let you automate the bidding process just like many popular auction sites that deal in products other than vehicles.
You can set your Max Bids on a vehicle anytime on a vehicle’s listing page from when the vehicle is first listed on Copart up to an hour before the live auction starts. In a live auction, you can set Max Bids up to two minutes, or two vehicles, before the car you want to buy comes up for live auction.
Yes. Absolutely. Many of our Members love the thrill of watching a live auction in action. You can watch our auctions if you want to place live bids, monitor how your Max Bids are performing, or just enjoy the excitement with bidders from around the world.
You can use Max Bids from any place you can place live bids. For example, you cannot place live bids or Max Bids from certain countries currently under international sanctions.
